Conversations reflect the reality in which we live, and sometimes express our dissatisfaction with the status quo.
When poverty is left unchallenged or when justice seems unreliable; when the hope for a future flounders, is there anyone out there listening? The government, the economists, the church, our parents, children, spouse, God... Are they listening? Are you?
Are You Listening? is not an event. It is a campaign that will begin at WALKWAY and continue long after Holy Week. It hopes to remind Filipinos of the relevant conversations we have had; Conversations of our future and of our country that, if we are listening, will hopefully move us to think, speak and then, act.
Are You Listening? employs a language Filipinos speak fluently: the language of MUSIC.
Some of the country’s top recording artists come together for a contemporary album of thought-provoking music.
The album serves as the official soundtrack of the WALKWAY exhibit and will be performed at the big Easter Sunday concert.
