Tomorrow Night at Fully Booked: ECHO, Week 1

Last week was the intro. Tomorrow we get down to business.

There is something about the words original and greatness that tend to stir something within us.

On one hand those words seem to summon us to live lives bigger than ourselves. And on the other, they disturb us from the mediocre, copycat life we tend to settle for.

Therein lies the tension--the crisis if you will.

Join us this we week for the ECHO Series.

Bring your friends!

Hi guys,

We've got photos of Kitchie Nadal's guest performance a few weeks ago. Click on the pic above to view the album, or if you have a Facebook account, you can access the images on our non-profit page.

Special thanks to Drew Syyap for being our official photographer that night!

This Wednesday at Church Simplified: ECHO

You know how when you were a kid, you always imagined that life was going to turn out unique for you... That there were things about life that was going to separate you from the pack.

Yet as life kicked in we find ourselves herded by culture to look the same, drive the same, eat the same--and sometimes you can't help but ask, what happened?

We think God through the Scriptures has been trying to get into the conversation of living a unique life.

Come and figure it out with us in our new series, ECHO.

This Wednesday at Church Simplified: Top Suzara

This city is hopeless.
You've said it, I've said, they've said it, we've all said it.
Where is God? Like seriously, where is He?
This Wednesday, let’s dig around and see what we can find.

This week’s guest artist is famed crooner Top Suzara,
previously from the pop band Freestyle.
Spread the word!

The Stations of the Cross by Church Simplified

It is good to learn early on that suffering and God are no contradiction, but much more a necessary unity: for me the idea that God himself suffered was always one of the most convincing teachings of Christianity. I think that God is closer to suffering than to happiness, and to find God in this manner gives peace and rest.

This Wednesday at church simplified: KITCHIE NADAL

Hey Guys,

Hope you guys had an awesome "Bataan day" weekend!

These days the word "Christian" is almost synoptic with words such as "narrow', "square", and "bubbled-in". It's kinda weird since the Jesus of the scriptures keep promising a life of freedom and abundance... so what gives?

Join us this week in a topic entitled "Open Spaces"

Also this week, we by some miracle were able to twist Kitchie's arm to come sing for us...actually Corrine did the twisting... well really, Kitchie is just really gracious and agreed to come hang with us a bit. It's going to awesome guys, so bring a friend will ya.

This Wednesday at Fully Booked

Illustrated by Samantha Godinez

When the destination seems unreachable;
And life spirals out of control;
When what you thought could be and should be, can't be...
What do you do? How do you respond to broken dreams--even the ones you believe God gave you?

This Wednesday at Church Simplified, join us as we close our current series, The Boulevard of Broken Dreams. See you there!

Interact: Which Station Moved You?

Hi guys!

For those who joined us last Wednesday at our Stations of the Cross exhibit, thanks so much for dropping by!

If you missed it in Fully Booked though, we're mounting the Stations exhibit in Festival Mall Alabang from Monday to Wednesday this week (March 17 to 19). We are at South City Church on the second floor (directly above National Bookstore).

Anyway, the team just wanted to get feedback on which station moved you. Was there anything in particular that hit you, or spoke to you in a special way? Or any suggestions for next year's mounting, perhaps? ;) Do let us know, your thoughts are always valuable to us.

Have an awesome Holy Week, everyone!
