We're churning out the videos slowly, but trust me they are worth the wait. ;)
This first one is one of our faves. Julianne sings an unreleased (soon-to-be-released!) single at the Easter concert of the Walkway exhibit held last Holy Week.
Enjoy, folks! We've also pasted the lyrics for your full appreciation.
Liwanag
Liwanag ng bagong umaga
Walang pagasang dala dala
Anino man o kahit ano
Hanap hanap koy mukha mo
Kahit sulyap lang
O paramdam
Sana ako ay pagbigyan
Alam ko'y ikay nandayan
Naghihintay nakaabang
Di bale nalang
Kung hindi lang din ikaw
Ang gigising sa umaga
Di bale nalang
Kung hindi lang boses mo
Ang aking pakikinggan
Bawat buntong hininga
Bawat luha sa mata
Dinig mo lahat ng sinasabi sa iyo
Hawak ko lang pangako mo
Na ni minsan di mo iniwan
Lumayo lang aking tingin
Di ko kailangang maunawaan
Lilipas din
Di bale nalang
Kung hindi lang din ikaw
Ang gigising sa umaga
Di bale nalang
Kung hindi lang boses mo
Ang aking pakikinggan
CS thanks Mayenne Carmona, columnist for the Savoir Faire in Philippine Star, for recently writing about the Walkway exhibit.
Check out her article titled, Are you willing to walk his way?, here.
Here's an awesome peek into the recently concluded Walkway exhibit at High Street.
Major thanks to Paolo Valenciano (of rock band Salamin) for the video, with credit to Sam Godinez for the photos used. Amazing job, guys!
Enjoy, everyone :)

flippish \fli’-psh\ adj [fr. Filipino]
1: anything that has Filipino flavor.
2. fickle minded or indecisive
3. odd, crazy or weird.
Web show Flippish has just published a comprehensive feature on Walkway. For those who haven't checked out the art exhibit yet, this video is an awesome primer on the what Walkway is all about.

Thank you Flippish!
We've been getting a lot of inquiries about the music we play at the Walkway exhibit. We've picked out some of the best positive music out there to complement your art walk experience, and we're glad you've enjoyed the tunes as much as we have. We even try to create a different playlist everyday (mostly so that the volunteers don't pull their hair out by day's end from saturation ;). So, in response to your requests, CS gives you the Walkway soundtrack played on April 7th:
Played in Quadrant 1 (Stations 1 - 8):

Hello friends!
How is everyone enjoying their long weekend? CS is basking in the summer heat and enjoying the crowds here at High Street. The Walkway exhibit is ongoing and received very warmly. We're so honored that our little project was able to serve the community this special season. We'll promise to post photos of Walkway soon, so watch out for that. In the meantime, the art installation is still up till Easter Sunday, so do come out to High Street and check it out.
Also, we're extremely excited about capping off the Walkway exhibit with an amazing Easter Concert this Sunday, April 12. We've got craaazy gifted artists that have agreed oh so willingly to take part in the concert. Woot woot! Here are some of them:
Barbie Almalbis
Julianne
Radha
Salamin
Gabriel Valenciano
Amber Davis
Marcus Davis, Jr.
Mark your calendars this Sunday. That's 7:00pm at the High Street mall grounds. We hope you can celebrate Easter with us!
